The notebooking journals are never required for any of the Young Explorer titles, but they are highly recommended. The full-color notebooking journals that accompany Exploring Creation with Earth Science have coloring pages, notetaking pages, and places to record all hands-on activities. A suggested schedule can be found and adapted to each individual family’s needs. There are also vocabulary review pages and minibooks that students create to enhance their studies. Additionally, the Exploring Creation with Earth Science notebooking journals also include a special section for students to document a “Special Spot” as seasons change. There’s no better way to learn about the Earth than to get outside and interact with it!
