Are there experiments and lab reports?

Yes. The experiments come in three types: microscope labs, dissection labs, and household labs. Household labs use only common household equipment. The microscope labs; however, require a microscope and several prepared and blank slides, while the dissection labs require an additional dissection set and specimens.

The Student Notebook includes a lab report section where students can record their experiment results. Sherri Seligson, author of Exploring Creation with General Science, 3rd Edition, and Exploring Creation with Marine Biology, 2nd Edition, has created an instructional guide that introduces the basic structure of one type of lab report write-up.
