Is Advanced Biology considered a health course?

Advanced Biology is not a health class in the traditional sense of the word. It does not spend a lot of time discussing healthy lifestyles, fitness, etc., which make up a standard health course. Of course, the student learns a lot about the body that you want to keep healthy, but you do not get what is considered part of a standard health course.

Our high school health and nutrition curriculum, Exploring Creation with Health and Nutrition, teaches students how to make and establish healthy life choices and routines. The text provides information needed to make wise decisions regarding physical health, as well as establishing and maintaining social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Topics covered include physical anatomy, nutrition, mental health, and social and emotional influences.
